The Nashville Alzheimer’s Golf Classic at The Governors Club
Since 1995, Mike Estes and the Capital Wealth Advisors team has hosted a three day golf charity tournament filled with CWA clients, friends and family all coming together for fellowship and to raise much needed funds for research. A Patron’s party is held on the first Sunday night in June before tournament play on Monday and concludes with a silent and live auction at the Governors Club Golf House, Brentwood, TN.
From 1995-2007, the benefactor was the March of Dimes. In 2008, the focus shifted to Alzheimer’s Research and with Pat Summitt’s diagnosis, a partnership was created to help build the University of Tennessee Pat Summitt Alzheimer’s Clinic, which will open December 2016. Since its simple beginning in 1995, the event has raised well in excess of 2 million dollars – a number we are all very proud of!
